Stamping riveting, also known as pressure riveting process. This process connects parts through rivets or the plastic deformation of the parts after they are subjected to force. The stamping riveting process is characterized by rapid force application and high riveting efficiency. The connecting materials at the riveting points interlock with each other, with no edges or burrs at the bottom, avoiding stress concentration and enabling it to withstand higher dynamic loads.

No heating is required during the connection process, and the surface coating of the material at the connection point will not be damaged. At the same time, it avoids welding spatter and welding deformation, and can achieve the connection of multiple layers of materials, plates of different thicknesses and different materials.

The early riveting process was simple and the structure was relatively monotonous. A rivet consists of a smooth cylindrical body and a rivet head at one end. You can refer to the manufacturer's design data. Consider the coating thickness of the sheet to avoid the hole diameter becoming smaller after coating, which is not suitable for installation. The material type and coating of rivets should be determined according to the required corrosion resistance. Try to choose rivets made of the same material as the connecting parts. Different materials may cause galvanic corrosion.
