Sheet Metal Fabrication

    What is sheet metal stamping?

Sheet metal stamping is a forming process that uses a metal stamping die to apply pressure to a sheet metal blank to form the desired shape. It is a highly versatile process that can create complex shapes with high precision and repeatability. Stamping is used to make a variety of products, from automotive parts to consumer electronics and home appliances.

Stamping is a process used to shape flat metal sheets by perforating, punching, embossing, and other operations using a stamping machine.

This is a fast and cost-effective way to produce large quantities of metal parts. It enables your manufacturer to produce complex shapes while maintaining consistent high quality. Sheet metal stamping is a quick and easy process. This is a cold forming process. This means you don’t need to allocate any time for the stamped metal to cool.

HY sheet metal stamping service capabilities

HY offers a range of sheet metal stamping services, including:

    Plastic overmolding

    In-mold tapping

    Four slide stamping

    Electronic tool and press monitoring

Stamping is performed on presses with capacities between 5 and 200 tons and tolerances as low as 0.25 mm.

A variety of materials can be machined, including ferrous carbon steel and non-ferrous brass.

If you would like more information about our services or would like input on the design of your sheet metal stamping product, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss your project.

    What is laser cutting?

A high-energy-density laser beam is used to heat the workpiece, causing the temperature to rise rapidly, reaching the boiling point of the material in a very short time, and the material begins to vaporize to form steam. These vapors are ejected at a very high speed, and at the same time as the vapors are ejected, cuts are formed on the material.

There are several different types of laser cutters, including:

    ● CO2,

    ● Nd (neodymium), and

    ● Nd:YAG (neodymium yttrium-aluminum-garnet).

CO2 lasers are used for cutting, boring, and engraving. Nd lasers are used for high-energy, low repetition boring. Nd:YAG lasers are used for very high power boring and engraving. All three types can be used for welding.

Laser cutting offers high precision, accuracy, and speed. It can be more cost-effective than machining in some situations and offers narrow kerf widths.

    HY laser cutting capabilities

Working with HY on your laser cutting project allows you to custom create shapes with complex geometries.

    We offer:

    ● 2D and 3D 5-Axis Laser Cutting

    ● Parts up to 60″ x 120″

    ● Tolerances to +/- 0.005″, up to +/- 0.001″ for some parts and materials

If you would like more information about our laser cutting services, please contact us and we will discuss your project with you within 24 hours.

    What is sheet metal bending?

Bending is a stamping process that uses pressure to force plastic deformation of materials to form a shape with a certain angle and curvature. Commonly used bends include V-shaped bends, Z-shaped bends and reverse bending.

Sheet metal bending is one of the essential processes in the metal processing industry. For example, this is an important stage for car companies as they use different shapes to get perfect car parts that match their designs. The process can reach industrial levels and is ideal for manufacturing large engine parts.

The equipment can be used for different types of bending techniques, including air bending, priming and embossing.

Sheet metal bending services provided by HY

We provide our customers with high-quality bending services, including:

    U-shaped bend

    Beam camber angle

    Steel structure bending

    rotational bending

Companies in many industries can take advantage of these options, including:

    steel structure manufacturer

    public works contractor

    equipment manufactory

If you are interested in sheet metal bending, please contact us to discuss your project.

    What is welding?

Sheet metal welding processing is to weld multiple sheet metal parts together to achieve the purpose of processing or seam welding of a single part to increase its strength. The welding methods generally include the following: argon arc welding, spot welding, etc.

Welders use different types of welding techniques, using high temperatures to melt the individual pieces together and then letting them cool, causing fusion.

Certain types of materials are not weldable and require additional material (called "filler" or "consumables") to join them together.

Parts can be joined together in different configurations such as butt joints, T-joints, corner joints, and other configurations.

    Welding services provided by HY

In addition to our sheet metal, metal tube and wire fabrication services, we are also able to provide the following welding services:

    ● Aluminum

    ● Stainless steel

    ● Carbon steel

    ● Galvanizing class
