Why is surface treatment necessary?

Surface treatment services allow you to improve the strength, feel, appearance, corrosion resistance and other properties of plastic and metal parts.

First, parts can be finished to improve layup, surface texture, roughness or waviness. This can be achieved through mechanical processes such as grinding, polishing, and sandblasting.

Parts can also be painted or powder coated to give them bright, vibrant colors that are pleasing to the eye. Powder coating has the added benefit of being resistant to chipping and fading.

Anodizing increases corrosion resistance and protects the metal surface of the part, while also allowing for the acceptance of colored dyes.
