Prototyping

What is rapid prototyping?

Rapid prototyping is a process that allows you to quickly convert a product or part design into a three-dimensional model using 3D computer-aided design (CAD) data.

There are a variety of techniques used to do this, including CNC machining, 3D printing, polyurethane casting, and rapid tool injection molding.

These processes are fast and cost-effective and ultimately produce a prototype of the part or product that can be displayed directly to customers or used to test and identify any design flaws that may exist.

Testing in this way makes it easier for customers to adjust materials, data, dimensions, colors, physical properties and other aspects of the design to get products to market faster.
