Drawing format: AutoCAD, Solidworks, CAXA, UG, CAD
Traditional motor housings generally use metal casting shells. With the development of technology, most motor housings have now changed their materials from cast iron shells to aluminum motor housings. However, the casting process has some inherent and inevitable defects such as shrinkage, shrinkage, and bubbles, which have a serious impact on the quality of electric motor housings. In order to solve this problem, HY chose to use stamped steel motor housings, which not only avoids the process defects of die casting, but also reduces weight, improves precision, and enhances heat dissipation.
Using deep drawing stamping to produce motor housings is already a very common stamping process choice. Most factories are already equipped with it. The deep drawing stamping industry can also be divided into continuous die deep drawing (with material belt) and transfer die (without material belt) according to whether it is equipped with material belt transmission. HY has also produced many product accessories through deep drawing stamping technology, such as motor housing, motor bearing housing, etc. The above products can be formed by continuous die deep drawing stamping through rotary cutting.
Introduction to deep drawing stamping process
The working parts of the stamping equipment used by HY are mainly composed of punches and dies. One station is equipped with a die, and up to 18 stations can be reached. When designing the mold, full working status can be considered, and all stations can be taken into account to ensure that each step of the motor housing is more stable and the quality of the electric motor housing meets customer expectations.
Whether it is a transfer mold or a continuous mold, the only difference is in the material belt transmission. There is no difference in the product production itself. The motor housing blank is placed separately in the mold, and the mechanical arm is used to complete the transmission and reverse flipping inside the stamping equipment. The advantage is that HY can produce motor housings with more complex shapes, such as reverse stretching of threads, side holes, side grooves, and end faces, improving the production quality and efficiency of motor housings.
Compared with the traditional ordinary stamping process, the transfer mold saves more materials and produces less waste in the production of motor housings, with lower assembly costs and higher efficiency. At the same time, it can also improve the appearance and structure of the motor housing and improve the strength, greatly reducing the waste rate.
The production efficiency of continuous mold is higher than that of transfer mold, because the continuous mold is transferred by the material belt, and the material always moves in one direction during the stamping process. The continuous mold under high-speed stamping can generally reach 60 times per minute when processing motor housing, but the production efficiency of the transfer mold is related to the robot equipped with the equipment. The product and mold can be adjusted as needed during production, which also enables the transfer mold to produce motor housing with higher precision and higher complexity, which also places higher requirements on the punching equipment, which involves cost issues. In order to meet the needs of product quality, HY introduced professional transfer mold punching machines from Japan, and continuously strengthened its processing capabilities to meet the needs of customers.
1. About the policy of minimum order quantity: We support a minimum order quantity of 1 piece. In addition to stamping and die-casting motor housing, we also have a CNC custom processing workshop dedicated to proofing work. We have CNC lathes, three-axis, four-axis, and five-axis machining centers.
2. About quality control policy: All motor housings will be 100% quality tested before delivery and relevant certificate reports will be issued. If there are special testing requirements such as strength certification, three-coordinate testing, flaw detection reports, etc., please inform us in advance and we will cooperate with authoritative institutions for testing.
3. About our overseas market policy: Our customers are currently mainly from the United States, the Middle East, Europe and Russia, but we welcome customers from all over the world to cooperate with us, and we are also actively looking for overseas cooperative distributors. All partners are welcome to join us.
